Welcome to the 30th edition of the Lazy Eye Bluesletter!
Huge thanks for all your support in making 2017 a great year and bring on 2018! Before we do though we have one more show to cap the year off.. the Goatshead Festival at Maccelsfield in the beautiful Adelaide Hills!
FILL UP YOUR CHRISTMAS STOCKING WITH AUSSIE BLUES THIS YEAR AND SAVE $$$!
We were so pleased to have the opportunity to be involved in Childhood Cancer Benefit Concert II last month. With concert tickets plus the raffle and of course your help we were able to raise over $6000.
It also gives us great pleasure to announce the winner of the Epiphone Les Paul guitar raffle is Tylar. This is a great news story as the 14yo has had an incredibly tough run. From what we understand, although his mum and dad are not around, his auntie does an amazing job of looking after him. With all this going on in the background, and the challenges of ADD in the public school system we sincerely wish him all the best on his new journey of learning guitar and can't wait to see him on stage some day rocking out the blues.
In recording news, the live album is rocking along nicely with pre-release to be available early next year. If you missed the show and would still like the opportunity to collect your pre-release copy of the album we've got great news. There's some very exciting exclusive packages that will be announced in the next blues letter.
We were excited to collaborate once again with South Australian artist David Baker who had his camera handy on the night and captured beautifully some of the atmosphere including this moment with Nikko & Snooks.
While we're on the subject of recording it was great to be back in the studio recording the sound track for the new Black Hill video.
Have a safe and special holiday period and be sure to make time to see a great show!
